George Maledon, a resident of Fort Smith for forty-five years, and part of the time executioner at the federal jail when jurisdiction of the court here extended all over the Indian Territory, left this week for Humboldt, Tennessee, where he will enter the Soldiers' Home and probably spend the remainder of his days. Mr. Maledon has been in bad health for some time.
