Supercedas Order Sought By The Old Board

Judge John B. Buford and Judge Frank Dale will go to Oklahoma City Thursday morning for the purpose of appearing in the Supreme court in the case of the commission form school board against the aldermanic school board. Judge Buford will appear on behalf of the aldermanic school board to ask for an order superceding the mandamus order issued by Judge Huston of the District court last week, which orders the members of the aldermanic school board to relinquish their offices in favor the new board. Judge Dale will appear for the new board and will fight the granting of the supersedeas.
The members of the old board was to appeal and are asking the supercedeas order so that they can hold their offices pending the decision of the case by the Supreme Court.
