W. D. Jenkins of the city, who is secretary of the National Anti-Horse Thief Association, has returned from Oklahoma City, where he has attended a session of the executive committee. He reports a most profitable meeting. Speaking of the occasion he said:

"Horse stealing in Oklahoma is not dead by any means, though it is dying out. Oklahoma County is short 125 horses, as a result of the last five years' thefts," he declared.

Last year fourteen horses belonging to members of the association in this state were stolen and twenty were recovered. The extra six were stolen in preceding years. The association has recovered horses after lapses of as much as ten years.
