100 Arrests on charges of drunkenness since
August 1, 1945, is the dubious record set by John Vanhouton,
105 S. Fifth, shown above between Bill Payton and Wilbur Clark, Guthrie
policemen after his 100th arrest
Friday night. Since that date, Vanhouton has served, worked out and paid a total
of $1,225 in fines.
His record shows ten more arrests dating to April 1, 1945.
